Education
I am proud to say that I have recently graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing, achieving a GPA of 3.94. During my time at the university, I gained a deep understanding of the principles of business and marketing, including consumer behavior, market research, and advertising.
In addition to my Marketing degree, I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Apparel, Textile, and Merchandising with a minor in Wine Industry Management. This degree provided me with a unique blend of theoretical and practical knowledge in the fashion retail industry, including coursework in buying, merchandising, product development, and visual merchandising. My minor in Wine Industry Management gave me a broader understanding of the industry, and I gained experience in event planning and customer service through my certificates in Winery Event Design and Tasting Room Management.
Before my time at Central Washington University, I earned an Associates of Arts Degree from Pierce Community College, achieving a GPA of 3.85. This degree provided me with a solid foundation in liberal arts, including coursework in writing, history, and the social sciences.
Overall, my education has given me a comprehensive understanding of business, marketing, and the fashion retail industry. I am confident that my academic background and practical experience have equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in any role within the industry.
Strengths
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a variety of strengths that I believe will be valuable in any professional setting.
My strong communication and interpersonal skills have been developed through my coursework and various leadership roles. I have been a member of several student organizations and served as an intern for a local boutique, where I gained experience in event planning, social media management, and customer service. Through these experiences, I learned to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members.
I also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, which have been developed through my coursework and practical experience. In marketing research and strategy courses, I learned to gather and analyze data to create effective marketing campaigns. Through my fashion retail and event planning experiences, I learned to anticipate and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Career Goals
As someone with a background in business, marketing, and the fashion retail industry, my ultimate career goal is to become a buyer for a leading fashion retailer. I have always been drawn to the buying aspect of the industry, as I believe it requires a unique combination of analytical skills, creativity, and trend forecasting.
As a buyer, I would be responsible for selecting and purchasing merchandise for the retail store or e-commerce site, and I would work closely with other departments such as marketing, visual merchandising, and inventory management to ensure the success of the product line.
Ultimately, my passion for fashion and my education in business and marketing, combined with my strong work ethic and attention to detail. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills and knowledge to a leading fashion retailer and to grow my career in the industry.
Technical Knowledge
Through my education and practical experience, I have gained a variety of technical skills and certifications that have prepared me for a career in the fashion retail industry.
One of my core technical skills is my proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. I earned Pearson Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Certificates in 2019, demonstrating my proficiency in these key software programs. With these skills, I am able to analyze data, create visually appealing presentations, and manage databases effectively.
