Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandise Degree

My Experience

I completed the Apparel Textiles and Merchandising (ATM) program offered at Central Washington University alongside a Marketing degree, which was an excellent combination for preparing me for a career in the fashion industry. The ATM program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain of the fashion industry, from concept to production and distribution.

The program also taught me about the latest trends in fashion, consumer behavior, and the importance of branding and marketing in the industry. The courses included hands-on experience in designing, developing, and presenting apparel lines, which helped me develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential in the fashion industry.

The ATM program also provided me with opportunities to participate in fashion shows, industry conferences, and internships, which allowed me to gain practical experience in the field. These experiences gave me exposure to various aspects of the fashion industry, including merchandising, product development, retail management, and buying.
